Likely all recent versions of VMWare guest OS. I use it with Workstation 6.5,
I've never tried it with VMWare Server.

Right, that's the idea. At least with akmod setup.

There's no vmware-config.pl anymore. open-vm-tools should not be installed
alongside the "official" Guest RPM.

The list of features provided is available on the upstream wiki page.
Essentially drag'n'drop, the guest tools gui, shared folders, the fast network
module, plus some memory optimizations, etc...

We always need more documentation, but to me this goes beyond the task of the
packager. "yum info" provides the package summary and the upstream URL. If the
package summary and description is incomplete, we can address that, otherwise
the upstream URL is the correct place to get documentation, I don't see the
value of replicating this on our own website. Besides, you can't expect
packagers to act as technical writers...
