No need to do that they are reading along here (atleast I (the webcam dev) am), 
please see my comment at the end of this bug report which explains the problem 
and how to work around it:

I'm sorry but a workaround is all I can do for F-9, in F-10 things will work 
out of the box (except skype, that will still require the workaround).
