I'm not sure mentioning the patent issue is mandatory or even a good 
idea. Here's how it is worded on Livna's front page :
"rpm.livna.org provides many useful packages that can not be distributed 
in Fedora (previously known as Fedora Core and Extras) for one reason or 
another [...]"
