You could package it as preliminary support! At least some components are there
(there is libhildon). Been announced as a supported Feature would mean all
components are there and usage of the whole framework have been proven.
Now that can be done as an incomplete task (and been advertised as that in the
maemo sub-package).
Anyway that's not that important since I don't own such device myself. 
Do as you want.

OK I will follow this method. Am I allowed to keep the alsa-plugins-freeworld
as an empty package that will pick -a52 and -lavcrate ?
