A segfault is always a bug. And even a newbie programmer should know that a
shared library shouldn't call exit() unless there is a compelling reason and he
doesn't show any. If he's willing to deliver a buggy software to his paying
clients, just let him do it.

I'm not going to write a patch after such a response. In fact, I'm not willing
to support this guy and I'm resigning from the review. If there's anyone who
wants to take it over, be my guest. Zarko, please don't take this personal. You
did your best.
