Ah, this appears to be the same crash on exit we're seeing with KDE 3 apps
using ffmpeg (Kaffeine and K3b with the -freeworld plugins installed). We've
tracked it down to something calling close(-1) which is an invalid file
descriptor to pass to close, but we haven't figured out where exactly that is
being passed.
