Well, the drivers are kind of forked and differ more then just a bit (the
kernel-developer iirc once or twice integrated/ported the changes from newer
ralink releases into staging), so I guess most patches for the ralink packages
won't work for the staging drivers (and vice versa). And patching these drivers
should not be needed often, as upstream should makes sure they compile.

Can't fully follow what your are up to. Can you re-word? 

Side note: I checked rtl8187se with a earlier version of this package and it
worked fine.

I only enabled a few where I thought it might make sense to have them in
Fedora. Enabled go7007_usb now as well. I'll plan to enable more if there is
interest.

The hardware supported by those drivers was popular once and it doesn't hurt
much to just compile and ship the driver -- that's basically why I think
enabling these is a good idea.
