Some comments:
1.It may be better to add some more Categories for desktop file.

I prefer to replace Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/guvcview/guvcview.png with
Icon=guvcview in desktop file.

3./usr/share/doc/guvcview-1.3.1/INSTALL should be removed.

All other things are OK.
