IMHO, mpg321 should just get obsoleted by mpg123. It was a rewrite of mpg123
from the time when mpg123 was non-Free software. It has been abandoned for
ages, and these days mpg123 is LGPLed.

PulseAudio is the default sound solution in Fedora, so audio apps should
default to PulseAudio output. This is not called "break", it's called "make
work out of the box".
