I have put the binary blob from the ubuntu package
(http://www.splitted-desktop.com/static/libva/xvba-video/), and it just works.
I experience a bug that showed up in Ubuntu too: from time to time, when I
start playback with vlc, the system almost freezes for some seconds. But then
the playback is correct. I still think that it's worth releasing.
