I forgot to tell you , I and DavidVa , built kodi 16.1 for Fedora 24 in
unitedrpms ,

sources ) , you may consider do the same on RPMFusion ( think in how
much work you will save) .
 
Also you got a patch made by me [1] to support for simple xselection
pasting under kodi , but need many work to be approved on upstream ,
now it is known as pray method :)
