you're not quite the only one, my first fedora package had to come here, so I was fairly new as well. I did my best to update the docs in the wiki so the same questions wouldn't have to be asked twice.<br><br><br>

[1] openCOLLADA: 3D import and export library. Blender is the only<br>
linux user I know of but it's compiled in staticly by default so has<br>
been stripped out of the default Fedora build.<br>

[2] discspan: I'm co-maintiner of this project on sourceforge. It's a<br>
(relatively) simple python script to archive files in a directory<br>
structure to CD or DVD. It doesn't compress or tar them together so<br>
each file is individually accessible. Good for archiving picture and<br>
music libraries since the files are generally already compressed<br>
(jpeg, mp3, ogg, etc.). I'm still getting the package into shape for<br>
submission...<br>
