Note sure who exactly said that (and I don't care at all), but just to
put things straight: the idea for the split is way older than RPM Fusion
(¹); the idea also was raised by a lot of different people in private
and in public; and it was one of the things that was on the initial
agenda and agreed on during the first discussions for RPM Fusion -- way
before it was mentioned in public. So nobody on this world can really
say "Rpmfusion.org is doing just that [the split] per my suggestion."

was not worth the trouble with RPM Fusion on the horizon
