Is this something that has previously been working with Fedora + RPM Fusion?

I don't have experience with totem, however, with mplayer, xine, I have
to use xrandr to manually adjust settings (note this was on an intel
vga, but I think it should be similar for nv:
xrandr --verbose
xrandr --verbose --output TV --auto
xrandr --verbose --output TV ... see other options.
I do find that at the point of logging in, if the TV is connected, then
the svideo/video mini din does get activated, and I can watch a DVD on
my TV ok.
In my area (PAL), I often need to xrandr a setting to enable PAL output,
instead of the NTSC that the chip seems to default to.
