Perle Systems makes several PCI and PCIe serial cards, but there support for
linux 2.6 and 3.x is lacking.
This package patches their driver tarball and builds it as per rpmfusion as
kmod.

== description ==
This package provides a driver for the family of Perle serial cards.
The cards supported are:
Perle UltraPort1, 2, 4, 8, 8i, and 16 cards
Perle UltraPort1, 2, 4, 8, 8i, and 16 SI cards
Perle UltraPort1, 2, 4, 8, and 8i Express cards

Read /usr/share/doc/perle-serial/README for more info.
====
This is a kmod package, and as such can't be included in Fedora.

"Userland" and "Metapackage" are legitimate words in this lexicon.
The wrong FSF address in perle-serial.c is directly from the upstream sources.
Kernel modules are unstripped (or they wouldn't load otherwise).
The not capitalized warning applies to a string that's generated from a macro.
The documentation is in the -common package.

RPM, SPEC and SRPM: http://avi.alkalay.net/software/atomicparsley/
AtomicParsley is a lightweight command line program that can read and set
iTunes-style metadata tags in MPEG-4 files & 3gp assets in 3GPP/3GPP2 files.
Maybe this package IS eligible to plain Fedora, please tell me. It doesn't have
any special dependencies on non-plain-Fedora packages. Altought it manages
proprietary MPEG-4 files, this software apparently does that through direct
binary file manipulation.

This is not my first package submission but previous packages never were
approved mostly due to lack of sponsors.

SPEC: http://kmilos.fedorapeople.org/geom.spec
SRPM: http://kmilos.fedorapeople.org/geom-6.3.1.8-1.svn222.fc16.src.rpm
A complete OpenCascade - OCAF based CAD framework. Note that this is not the
original SALOME GEOM project but an effort to create a standalone framework
based on the existing one from SALOME project, with the addition of extra
functionality.
This package can not be included in Fedora because it links with the non-free
OCE library.
This is my first RPM Fusion package, however I packaged for Fedora before
(redshift).

Description:
Use this package to install the packages required to run vmware locally.
This package does not include the free vmware-server or vmware-server-console
package itself. They can be obtained from the vmware website.
Can't be in Fedora:
- it's a meta package
- it enables use of non fedora software
- the proper packaging should really be done by the upstream author.
- the upstream is not open source
- the upstream do not support the fedora distribution
- FESCO discussed it recently, and voted that helper packages for third party
apps shall be blocked from Fedora:

So, do we want to allow helper packages like this in RPM Fusion ?
Note it does not Require: any packages external to Fedora/RPM Fusion, nor does
it attempt to download them.
Others have mentioned that other external no source apps might include skype
etc, that could receive similar RPM Fusion packaging assistance ?
