RBDoom3BFG 3 is a Doom 3 BFG GPL source modification. The goal of RBDoom3BFG 3
is to bring Doom 3 BFG with the help of SDL to all suitable platforms. Bugs
present in the original DOOM 3 will be fixed (when identified) without altering
the original game-play.
Why it's not in Fedora?
Packaging guidelines prohibit engines where the content is not available. The
engine is fully Open Source.
Note:
Information on the package and on the game content is inside the README.txt
file.

Script used to generate the Source0 main file. This is legitimate in Fedora
packaging guidelines.
> RBDoom3BFG.x86_64: E: invalid-soname /usr/lib64/libidlib.so libidlib.so
This is the main engine code, it is dynamically loaded at runtime from the
ld.so path; default compilation from upstream sources loads it through RPATH.
The game it's looking for that specific name, much like a plugin. There's no
need to run ldconfig in %post/%postun.
The rest can be ignored.

Description:
Spin targets the efficient verification of multi-threaded software, not the
verification of hardware circuits. The tool supports a high level language to
specify systems descriptions called PROMELA (short for: PROcess MEta LAnguage).
Spin has been used to trace logical design errors in distributed systems
design,
such as operating systems, data communications protocols, switching systems,
concurrent algorithms, railway signaling protocols, control software for
spacecraft, nuclear power plants, etc. The tool checks the logical consistency
of a specification and reports on deadlocks, race conditions, different types
of
incompleteness, and unwarranted assumptions about the relative speeds of
processes.
I have no approuved package on rpm-fusion, but I'm already approuved on fedora.

[Bug 4444] New: firebird-emu - Third-party emulator for ARM-based TI

Product: Package Reviews
Version: Current
Hardware: x86_64
OS: GNU/Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P1
Component: Review Request
Assignee: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
Reporter: rosser.bjr(a)gmail.com
CC: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
Source URL:

SRPM URL:
https://www.acm.jhu.edu/~bjr/fedora/rpmfusion/firebird/firebird-emu-1.2-1...
Description: This project is the community, third-party TI Nspire emulator,
Texas Instruments' ARM-based series of graphing calculators.
It supports the emulation of Touchpad, CX and CX CAS calcs on
Android, iOS, Linux, Mac and Windows.
FAS Username: tc01
Why not in Fedora: firebird-emu is pure FOSS, but not only does it require TI's
proprietary operating system for the Nspire line of calculators, but also the
proprietary boot/base code blobs from the calculator itself. Thus as per the
emulator policy, since this package isn't functional without any proprietary
blobs, I believe this package still needs to be in RPM Fusion.
rpmlint output:
firebird-emu.src: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US calcs -> calls,
calms, calks
firebird-emu.src: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US iOS -> OS, SOS, DOS
firebird-emu.x86_64: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US calcs -> calls,

firebird-emu.x86_64: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US iOS -> OS, SOS,
DOS
firebird-emu.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary firebird
firebird-emu.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary firebird-send
Note: upstream usually uses the name "firebird" for this package, but the name
"firebird" belongs to another package in Fedora, so I opted for "firebird-emu"
(as this name is also sometimes used by upstream).
There is a potential for name conflicts. Currently the firebird package
installs a %{_sbindir}/firebird [1]. This package installs a
%{_bindir}/firebird. This doesn't cause a conflict per _se_, but if both are on
$PATH there's a potential for confusion. Should I rename the binary from
firebird -> firebird-emu as well?
As far as I can tell, the packages do not currently conflict in any other way.
The current firebird-emu filelist is:
-rwxr-xr-x /usr/bin/firebird
-rwxr-xr-x /usr/bin/firebird-send

Bug #: 4186
Summary: scid - A chess database application
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Package Reviews
Version: Current
Platform: All
OS/Version: GNU/Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: Review Request
AssignedTo: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
ReportedBy: sergio(a)serjux.com
CC: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
SPEC: http://www.serjux.com/rpms/scid.spec
SRPM: http://www.serjux.com/rpms/scid-4.6.2-1.fc21.src.rpm
I will be able to add this package , the scid.spec is the same made by Mikhail
Kalenkov , I just update it to 4.6.2
Scid can perform many different searches, such as for particular
players, a certain opening position, material searches, and pattern
searches such as isolated pawns. It is very fast, because it uses its
own efficient format, but it can convert games to and from PGN, the
standard format for chess game files.
Scid can use a chess engine such as Crafty to analyze games and also
has a "tree" mode where it automatically shows all moves played from
the current position, their opening codes, success rates, etc.
Why not in Fedora:
Scid package has some small part of nonfree code. It is Nalimov
tablebase decoding code. Nalimov tablebases may be very important in the
endgame
analysis.

[Bug 4535] New: Review request: kodi-visualization-spectrum -
Spectrum visualizer for Kodi
by RPM Fusion Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4535
Bug ID: 4535
Summary: Review request: kodi-visualization-spectrum - Spectrum
visualizer for Kodi
Product: Package Reviews
Version: Current
Hardware: x86_64
OS: GNU/Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P1
Component: Review Request
Assignee: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
Reporter: development-K9RvgheM1OmXW9pm(a)dcrdev.com
CC: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
Hello,
I'd like to submit a package for the inputstream.adaptive Kodi plugin, to be
reviewed.
The spec, debuginfo and source rpm can be found here:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dcrdev/rpm-kodi-visualization-spectrum/...
https://github.com/dcrdev/rpm-kodi-visualization-spectrum/releases/downlo...
https://github.com/dcrdev/rpm-kodi-visualization-spectrum/releases/downlo...
A short description for the package (usually, the %description from the spec
file):
An OpenGL Spectrum visualizer for Kodi - this is the default visualization for
Kodi on other platforms i.e. Ubuntu, Windows etc...
Why this package is not eligible to be included in Fedora.
This is an extension of Kodi and therefore for the same reasons as Kodi this
package is not eligible to be included in Fedora.
The output rpmlint gives on both the source and binary packages. Explain for
each message why you've chosen to ignore it.
1 Error in opengl_spectrum.cpp - this is relation to the wrong address being
used on the license upstream. I will file a bug upstream.
Mention if this is your first RPM Fusion package.
I have another package awaiting review, I have never previously had a package
approved.
Mention that you are seeking a sponsor if you are not a Fedora sponsored
packager or an RPM Fusion sponsored packager.
I am not a sponsored packager, so yes I am seeking a sponsor.
Thanks
