Moonlight 2 is currently in late beta stages, I think it would be
prudent to
push that version through review instead of the aging 1.0.1 since that does not
support SL2 content at all which still is the majority of all SL content out
there.
AFAIK it's not trivial to package Moonlight 2 at the present stages. I don't
know if they plan to reorganize the code, which uses/canibalizes the mono core,
for the 2.0 version but in the middle this other one is ready. And yes, I agree
is not as powerful as 2.0.
