But users who download packages from a repository do not expect them to be
time-limited demo versions which are illegal to use beyond a demo period. We do
not even have a way to tell them that at install time! (Interactive
installation is not supported and a big can of worms you definitely don't want
to open, nor are stdout/stderr guaranteed to go anywhere.)
