SPEC:
http://rpms.kwizart.net/fedora/reviews/xdtv/xdtv.spec
Summary: Video4Linux Stream Capture Viewer & Recorder
This package use ffmpeg internally because the needs of a patch on dvb support.
If ffmpeg is used shared, it will disable the dvb support.
Why is the patch not submitted upstream? I can agree on keeping ffmpeg internal
temporarily as long as you work with upstream to achieve full functionality
with external ffmpeg, too.
%{_bindir}/xdtv_v4l-conf is setuid root, i don't know how can I
fix this, if
not setuid root, the software will not work. Advices welcomed.
What does it need the setuid bit for? Device access? If so, then you can add an
udev rule to allow the currently logged in user access the device without
needing root.
