Yes, but the question is: Does this software need to support such old hardware?
Is it worth?
My $.02 USD: enable MMX, screw the 586 users. Anyone still using 586-class
hardware really has no business running a video editor. Hell, at least enabling
MMX might make it bearable to use on a P-III or something... Of course, I'm a
64-bit snob -- I'm still amazed how many people don't run 64-bit hardware yet.
