RPM now accepts LZMA payloads as well as sources. Squashfs + LZMA
patches would save some additional space if you want to go that route.

I meant Squashfs + LZMA
because I don't want to repack the rpms ..etc.
the problem with Squashfs + LZMA patches that it need a patch to the kernel
which is not yet accepted
