So I did briefly poke last night. Unfortunately, nothing I do seems
to make any
significant difference to improve my throughput. For the time being, I think
I'm going to wind up punting, and just run MythTV under Mac OS X on this box,
at least until I get an rt2870 802.11n usb adapter and/or a second antenna
wire, which may or may not help... :\
Shame. I guess we won't know for sure whether its specifically a driver issue
until you can try it with the second antenna. I'd be interested to know whether
this driver really does support "n" standard.
(On the bright side, the ATI Remote Wonder II works extremely well
under Mac OS
X, and MythTV playback performance is passable, though I have a scaling issue
left to figure out).
Glad you got something working... but shame it had to be OSX and not Fedora!
