Repacking the fonts in an rpm (imho) most definitely does not satisfy the
requirement of "kept in their original format"
uh ... the rpm does not contain the fonts. the rpm downloads the fonts as part
of the installation. the rpm does however contain files, empty files, with the
same name as the fonts. perhaps that's where the confusion comes from.
