Point behind this clause is, that "ActiveSync over-the-air"
is maybe covered
in the US by Microsoft etc.
"Maybe" is not enough to invoke clause 8, they need to prove that there's a
patent banning it in the US. Otherwise they're not compliant with the GPL and
thus their licensing is contradictory.
