Few things to add here:
1) I want to update the driver to 5.10.27.11 - I have all the sources ready and
tested locally but I can't get access to the CVS server any more: keep getting
Permission denied errors. I posted to the mailing list and Xavier tried helping
but I still can't get access.
ping me on IRC, I'll try to help
2) I did open a bug report about the PAE kernel but it seems it was
deleted (at
least I can't find it). There does appear to be some kind of difficulty with
this module and the PAE kernel - I don't know if it is specific to this kmod or
a problem with kmodtool but here is the info I have:
a) Installing on a PAE kernel wants to pull in the non-PAE kernel as a
dependency
You have to install kmod-wl-PAE if you run a PAE kernel
