Thanks for the response... just knowing that it was removed in 0.90 is more
then enough for me.
As for FreeCAD, I've got a spec file created. I don't have time to maintain it
for rpmfusion, but in case you didn't already have one built, you're welcome to
use or borrow from it. The one thing I know I don't have working yet is the
"Arch" workbench - it's complains about pivy, even though it seems to be
there.
And my spec uses /opt/FreeCAD for the base - I wanted to keep it isolated from
the rest of the system, similar to the google RPMs.
I was really only looking for a native linux replacement for SketchUp - and
while FreeCAD isn't quite what I wanted, it IS impressive, and I look forward
to using it. Took me a couple of hours of working with it for modeling 3D by
extrusion/rotation to really "click". I was too used to creating freeform in
3D with SketchUp. Once that difference sank in (knowing why CAD works that way
helped), modeling got much easier.
