I'm interested if he is no longer but I have to admit I
haven't done it before
so I'll need some guidance.
The packages I built are using Elliott's patches.
I also rebuilt the necessary mlt packages (mlt-melt and mlt-python version
0.5.10) for F14 from source since they were not available for F14 from
rpmfusion.
The packages meet the packaging guidelines as far as I can tell. What's the
next step?

this package and
maintain it in rpmfusion?
Are you already a maintainer of packages (a packager) in Fedora itself?
If so, then you need to find a reviewer of this package (just say the word and
I'll volunteer). If you're
not a Fedora packager yet, then you need to find someone to sponsor you, and
show you the ropes,
normally we prefer if people become a Fedora packager first, see:

If you've no packages you're interested in submitting / maintaining for Fedora
itself, we could
do a similar traject here.
