I don't understand the meaning of your intervention.
Do you mean the report is unrelated to the problem ??? No it isn't.
Who can tell? The ticket is almost a year old and refers to even older
issues. Is it still the same problem? Have EL-5 builds worked some time
after that ticket in 2010? Nobody from Infra has answered in that ticket.
The ticket has never been closed either. It's open since 2010-04-16.
Has anything been done in response to the bug report?
What 'we' packagers expect from users is to report to our
bugzilla in
the case of they experience a problem.
Understandably. Still it isn't asked too much to take notice of
mailing-list threads like this. On a low-traffic list. I've unsubscribed
from the sysadmin list, which doesn't see any traffic at all. It's silent
for months. Is IRC the only place where one could lurk in hope of getting
status updates or insider details? IRC is pretty much a waste of time.
That's at a very higher level of expectation that the same apply
from
RPM Fusion contributors to the infrastructure team.
To me, your reading of the report is unaccurate, it has happened a lot
since the initial report. and the bug could have been closed for some
time but it's now reopened without anyone to notify the one in charge
of the buildsys infra.
The ticket's "activity log" doesn't say anything about
"reopened".
The first impression is that the ticket has been ignored.
Perhaps you refer to a different ticket than the one you linked?
The fact that the one assigned to the task isn't verbose as
expected
is a very different and probably more individual problem.
The assignee has _not_ responded at all.
