While the patent-encumbered stuff is fine in RPM Fusion, linking this
GPLv2+
program against the non-Free and thus GPL-incompatible mac looks very much
like a no-go to me.
this comes from upstream - maybe someone should tell them they are breaking
their own licensing :-)
anyways, I thought this is exactly what the non-free section of RPMFusion is
for ... if we have mac, why not to have anything that links to it? - the
Aqualung authors' intention surely wasn't to prevent distribution and usage of
their software
I'd suggest just not enabling this feature. Note that FFmpeg has
an LGPLed
Monkey's Audio decoder which works for most files.
well, I'd wait with such suggestions until ffmpeg works with *all* files (also,
does Aqualung have the capability to play .ape using ffmpeg instead of mac?)
