first note, akmods only exist in rpmfusion-free-updates-testing
akmods noarch 0.4.0-4.fc17 rpmfusion-free-updates-testing
second on mock build root, dir subsys doesn't not exit.
akmods --kernels 3.3.0-8.fc17.x86_64
build without problem
also no problems in i386.
If I can give my opinion ,
buildsys-build-rpmfusion-kerneldevpkgs-current is blocking build to a
specific kernel and should be possible to build to the available kernel.
Other opinion is just have one F17 , don't see advantages in having
testing branch, but is just my opinion I may not have the all picture.

Hi, I can't build kmods with current even locally I got :
Requires: kernel-devel-uname-r = 3.3.0-1.fc17.x86_64
Available: kernel-debug-devel-3.3.0-8.fc17.x86_64 (fedora)
kernel-devel-uname-r = 3.3.0-8.fc17.x86_64.debug
Available: kernel-devel-3.3.0-8.fc17.x86_64 (fedora)
kernel-devel-uname-r = 3.3.0-8.fc17.x86_64
Error: No Package found for kernel-devel-uname-r = 3.3.0-1.fc17.x86_64
I will wait for the push of VirtualBox, to be able to test guest on a vm
with F-17 .
