No source repositories for updates?
by Göran Uddeborg
When I try to use "yumdownloader" to get a source package, it replies
with an error message:
mimmi$ yumdownloader --source x264.x86_64
Enabling updates-source repository
Enabling rpmfusion-nonfree-source repository
Enabling rpmfusion-free-updates-source repository
Enabling fedora-source repository
Enabling rpmfusion-free-source repository
Enabling rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-source repository
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: rpmfusion-free-updates-source/20/x86_64
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it something on the repository side
that isn't ready yet?

New problems building MythTV-0.27 for el6
by John Pilkington
Hi: I have MythTV Version v0.27-109-gcb744f8 under F18 x86_64 working
well - thanks, Richard - and have tried to rebuild it for my laptop
running Scientific Linux 6 with extras. I've given details earlier of
the repos I needed for that, and it's been running well with a build I
did using a slightly modified rpmfusion specfile and the git tarball
about 3 weeks ago. Before that, rpmbuild --rebuild had succeeded under
SL6 using the F18 SRPM.
Now, rpmbuild --rebuild mythtv-0.27-3.fc18.src.rpm fails, probably
because its BUILDROOT folder is mythtv-0.27-3.fc18.i386. This happens
even if I rename the srpm to mythtv-0.27-3.el6.src.rpm I don't know
where the fc18 tag is coming from, but it appears in the definition of
RPM_BUILD_ROOT in config.ep
So I've just tried mock instead. That says No Package found for
lame-devel, although I have it installed and have just been able to
download it (not within mock) from here:
http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/updates/6/i386/lame-devel-3.99.5-1...
All rather puzzling. I'll perhaps try a new rebuild from git tarball.
Any hints?
Thanks,
John P

akmod-nvidia not working correctly?
by 杨立夫
Hi, I installed akmod-nvidia in Fedora 19 but the system stopped at
"Starting ...(services)" when trying to restart, then I re-installed Fedora
20 and the problem is the same. Is there something wrong with the driver? I
have a NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS card.

Openshot Failing
by George Galt
Richard:
Do you still maintain Openshot for RPMFusion? I'm getting the following
error when trying to start Openshot:

OpenShot is installed from RPMFusion, along with mlt, ffmpeg and
ffmpeg-libs (all x64_86). Here are the versions installed:
openshot-1.4.3-1.fc19.noarch
ffmpeg-1.2.4-2.fc19.x86_64
ffmpeg-libs-1.2.4-2.fc19.x86_64
mlt-0.8.8-5.fc19.x86_64
This seems to be an issue ffmpeg, but I'm not sure (see this thread as an
example https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=135215). Do you have
any suggestions as to how to proceed to track down this error?
Thanks,
George

issue with lame-0.99.x and swftools-0.92
by Pablo Rodriguez
Hi there,
swftools-0.92 has a bug that prevents it from working with lame-0.99.x.
This renders swftools not so useful with sound compression.
I have reported the bug in the swftools mailing list, where Matthias
Kramm recollects the bug reports. This was over three months ago and
there was no reply from him.
Until the bug is fixed, would it be possible to have an special lame098
package and that swftools replaces the lame dependencies with this
lame098 dependency?
Many thanks for your help,
Pablo
