by Michael Cronenworth
Has anyone had success with encoding using NVENC?
ffmpeg-3.3.4-1.fc26.x86_64
GeForce 750 Ti
When I try:
$ ffmpeg -i video.mkv -c:v h264_nvenc -profile:v high -c:a copy -v:profile trace
test.mkv

Hello,
Rawhide now has kodi-17.6-4.fc28, which features ffmpeg-3.5 support.
Please test this against video files, addons, and music files.
Thanks,

unable to build kodi on Fedora 27
by David Demelier
Hello,
I'm trying to rebuild kodi with DVD support.
After regenerating the tarball (+ editing the _with_dvd macro and
fetching additional files) I get the following error:
rpmbuild -ba kodi.spec
Executing(%prep): /bin/sh -e /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.qnS8YS

Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|--- a/xbmc/Application.cpp 2015-12-06 14:30:15.924980306 -0600
|+++ b/xbmc/Application.cpp 2015-12-06 14:37:42.234030771 -0600
--------------------------
File to patch:
If I go to the BUILD/kodi-17.6 directory I get the following tree
$ tree -L 1
.
├── addons
├── build-aux
├── lib
├── tools
├── xbmc
└── xbmc-xbmc-a9a7a20
And the Application.cpp file is located under xbmc-xbmc-a9a7a20/xbmc,
not the first xbmc one.
What am I doing wrong?
Regards,

Livna repo not available for F27
by Andre Robatino
The Livna repo http://rpm.livna.org/repo/ has no entry for F27. Since the libdvdcss package is only rarely updated, I just manually installed the F26 package. It looks like 6 years ago someone added about 10 entries for future releases, and they just ran out.

Broadcom BCM4360 driver
by PoMec@PoMec.net
It would sure be good if you would add Centos 7 to the distributions that have the Broadcom 802.11 STA driver rpm.
I very much appreciate your having it ready for Fedora 27 !!!!
Thank you,
Greg Ennis
