Hello list,

I'm having trouble installing sox-plugins-freeworld, as far as I can see because of a version mismatch between sox from the Fedora 22 repo, and sox-plugins-freeworld from the RPMFusion repo.

I was really trying to wait until the infra upgrade was done. The problem is devel on RPM Fusion is F21. If F21 and F22 were on the same version of sox then I would build for F21 and get Nicolas to build the F22 package but they're different versions so the workaround is more problematic.

Additionally, in the last release sox decided to make a lot of their internal functions private which broke some of their own plugins so I have not yet been able to produce a new build even locally in mock.

There's a patch to make the functions public again which would fix building for me but as the sox build in Fedora doesn't use it, it would still break things.

No simple solutions...
