vlc update gives segfault with locally created DVD

I often create DVD .iso files. Today's vlc update in f24 segfaults immediately with 'Error opening file BDMV/index.bdmv' and 'libEGL warning: DRI2: failed to authenticate' It looks to me as if this is an upstream issue. vlc 3.0.0-0.1.fc24 works for me. 3.0.0-0.15 does not. John P
