Thank you for your imput but I don't understand what you are telling me. I am not able to install my nvidia drivers because of a transaction error.

He is trying to tell you not to use the nVidia drivers and/or hardware.  He is suggesting you should stick with nouveau for nVidia or use non-nVidia HW.
