I was curious about the plans for a Mythtv 0.29 release? It was
released on July 31st.

The mythtv packages takes 5 hours to build [1]
and therefore have a lots of things to test, so update the package
requires lot of work , any contribution is welcome, do you tried if it
builds ?

Right now I'm waiting on a bug fix release of python-MySQL before I can do
any builds.
I don't generally jump right on new major versions preferring to let the
early adopters find the big bugs first.

Ok, I'm doing the last build of 0.28.1 on Rawhide. I'm still waiting for
the updated python-mysql to be pushed to stable in f27. After that I'll
build for f26 and f27.
I'll build some local test packages first and make sure I don't run into
any showstoppers for 0.29.
