For years I have been using ProjectX (without GUI) to cut mpeg2
recordings from MythTV. In el7 I have used the included build.sh to
build ProjectX.jar locally from a tarball dated October 2014, which
seems to be no longer easily accessible. In Fedora I have the rpm from
rpmfusion, which has just been updated to ProjectX-0.91.0-17.fc31
It isn't clear to me whether this version has any new useful
functionality, whether I should just continue with my local build for
el7, or request an el7 rpm?
Here's a part of the log from f31:
running: ionice -c3 projectx -name tempcut2643 -id 0x1e0,0x1c0 -out
