Just a note: The only solution to avoid the current transition period 
afaics would have been to chose a particular Fedora release in the 
future (e.g. F10) for the start of RPM Fusion. Then Dribble, Freshrpms 
and Livna would have to stay around for longer to support F8 and F9 -- 
that would have created even more chaos IMHO. Afaics nobody wanted that.
