Can you attach a log file with the warnings? Then I can take a look what kind
of warnings they are and how hard to fix they will be.

Are the installed .so.x files executable? If not you won't get debuginfo. Are
the rpmoptflags used everywhere? Maybe during linking or install the binaries
are stripped (-s argument to ld / gcc / install, or a plain call of strip) ?
