I didn't follow that gstreamer/codeina stuff to closely, but I suppose 
above was a hint for us. Which brings me to the point of this mail: did 
anybody track that stuff closely? What are we supposed to do to make 
life as simple as possible for our users (e.g. "to make it just work")
