It would be better to provide a separate review for each packages.
It is also "preferred" to use the -freeworld namespace for rpmfusion_free
alternative of fedora package.

Furthermore, you need to work with the freetype-freeworld maintainer to have
the patches "eventually" merged in the freetype-freeworld package. If not
doable, your package will need to conflict the freetype-freeworld once. (which
leads to a new problem, we do not package conflicting package "whenever it is
possible"). 

Then i guess it will be easier to have another keyworld for such replacement
package. (lcd isn't a clear enought keyworld for me as it suggests the replaced
packages are less usefull on lcd).
(which works reasonably well for me as a Gnome user - Indeed , I don't see any
difference between the two images.)
