Hi Kevin,

thank you for this. I would love to take over freetype-freeworld.

Now about the difference : 

My idea was to have completely same experience as on Ubuntu Jaunty.
Because of that, i have dropped all the Fedora/Upstream patches and added those
from Ubuntu. I have used same sources of freetype/cairo/libXft as in Ubuntu
Jaunty as well.

Yes , the Fedora has subpixel rendering and bytecode interpreter patches, which
are enabled in freetype-freeworld. It works fine with my cairo, libXt as well,
but those patches are slightly different and final font rendering experience is
different - mainly visible when M$ fonts are used - fonts are missing some
glymphs.

If you will allow me to, I will rename those packages to have -freeworld suffix
and merge freetype-freeworld and my freetype-lcd according to your comments
#5,#6.

I will create new requests per package as suggested in comment #3

Oh and of course I am about to provide screenshots for you all to see how
fedora loooks before / and after
