Basically as in Fedora iirc and afaics; see also

Regarding the "removal from the repos": We just as Fedora normally don't
remove packages from the release repos. It is possible if there is a
strong reason, there is just some amount of manual work involved which
I'd like to avoid because "manual" often leads to things breaking -- and
less free time for me ;-)
