Ok, it's obvious I don't understand how all these things depend on each other. 
I'll let you Chen and Nicolas sort out where this package belongs.

If still relevant, I'm prepared to do the more packaging oriented parts of the
review.  I mostly did already.  But maybe it's better if someone who better
understands how things belong together do that too?
