There are usually several ways to ask upstream for a fix:
* open a ticket in their bug reporting system
* send a message to their mailing list
* mail one of the author
* etc

To keep track of what is upstream doing, opening a ticket is really suggested.

As you can see there is just a space between "Name:" and butt. But you used
tabs for all the other fields. 

Name: butt
Version:        0.1.12
Release:        1%{?dist}
Summary:        Broadcast using this tool to Icecast or Shoutcast servers
[...]

Please use the same indentation (either one space or one tab) for every field.

I hope things are clearer now.
