Strange, since the problem appears to be a reference counting bug, I would
expect it to be a problem on all platforms. Is it just that the tools on Linux
are catching this problem and Windows is not?

It's not the end of the world. If this was a daemon or something that would
likely stay running all the time I would be more concerned. I wouldn't mind
some of the other RPM Fusion maintainers giving their $.02, but I don't think
it's a blocker. It's not like there's not other approved packages with bugs on
RPM Fusion :)

We should track the problem though, even if upstream isn't being super
responsive. After the CVS request and miro gets added as a component to
bugzilla let's put in a bug for the problem. 

Hopefully I'll find some time to do the full review soon.
