Work here too, 
I hit a bug with update to mesa 9.1-6 which makes glxinfo segfault

but is working 
yeah ldconfig is important after switch from nouveau . is already in the
package ? 
and if we don't patch 00-nvidia.conf.patch, ModulePath @LIBDIR@/nvidia/xorg
will point to a none existing directory instead one that exist .
With glxinfo working and in /var/log/Xorg.0.log in saw that other ModulePath
works alone , so works with or without patch, I guess.
but is could make the difference to original xorg-x11-drv-nvidia ...
