Hello NVieville,

I have Fedora 19 and a Sony Vaio with chip BCM43142 installed.

I am trying your package in order to have wireless connectivity but I am having
some problems.

I am new to Linux, although I have experience with several mainframe operating
systems, so
after some problems with prerequisites and setting the rpmbuild environment I
managed
to rpmbuild and yum install the packages:

> $ rpmbuild --rebuild broadcom-wl-6xx-6.30.223.30-1.fc20.src.rpm
> Installing broadcom-wl-6xx-6.30.223.30-1.fc20.src.rpm

I can send you the full output of the above.

After a reboot, I cannot see the wireless. In addition, I cannot find the
wl-6xx.ko module neither with lsmod nor with locate. However, it seems that
the module is generated with CFG80211 API during the installation process.

I will appreciate any help that you may give me, including what is the
correct forum to post a help request if it is not appropriate to
do here.

Thanks in advance.
