Description:
Mpv is a movie player that plays most MPEG, VOB, AVI, OGG/OGM,
VIVO, ASF/WMA/WMV, QT/MOV/MP4, FLI, RM, NuppelVideo, yuv4mpeg, FILM,
RoQ, and PVA files. You can also use it to watch VCDs, SVCDs, DVDs,
3ivx, RealMedia, and DivX movies.
It supports a wide range of output drivers including X11, XVideo, DGA,
OpenGL, SVGAlib, fbdev, AAlib, DirectFB etc. There are also nice
antialiased shaded subtitles and OSD.
It is a fork of mplayer and mplayer2.
Why this package is not eligible to be included in Fedora:
It depends on rpmfusion stuff and possible other reasons similar to mplayer's
ones.
The output rpmlint gives on both the source and binary packages:
$ rpmlint ./*rpm

3 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 1 errors, 7 warnings.
spelling-errors are false positives
configure-without-libdir-spec - mpv doesn't support libdir configure option
incorrect-fsf-address - I won't patch that
This is my first RPM Fusion package.
I'm a Fedora sponsored packager but not an RPM Fusion sponsored packager.
