Please drop dependency on  outdated sound servers, such as artc, esound. I also
question a dependency on jack and openal. We shouldn't blindly copy all the
mplayer's dependencies - lots of them are just insane (which in turn led to
this particular fork).

You also bundled 4 (four) mp3 codecs (lame, libmad, libmpg123, ffmpeg) - why? I
adwise you to drop everything except ffmpeg.

As for a52dec, libmpcdec, gsm, libmpeg2, twolame, xvidcore, x264 - all these
codecs has their own realization withing ffmpeg, So why did you add them? I can
understand the intent to add x264, and a52dec, which sometimes offer differen
(not better, but different) feature set than ffmpeg internal one. But even for
x264 it's questionable.

Regarding aalib (which is just a joke), directfb, directfb - do we really need
to offer these output methods?
